Removing the head once attached is extremely (and I emphasize the extremely part) tricky. You need to find the plug underneath the head between the hole of the head and the neck, make some pressure with your other hand on the top of the head and then pressure the underneath part with your finger to detach it.
The weight will cause you to struggle cleaning if you don't have a bathtube, but it is not undoable.
